100% European linen (Masters of Linen certified)
- Their linen is environmentally sustainable, requiring no irrigation, no GMOs, and is biodegradable.
- Flax, which linen is made of, captures 3.7 tons of CO2 per hectare; is biodegradable and eco-friendly.
Local wool
- Wool is Finnsheep, with wool washing done in the UK.
- Sourced locally from nearby sheep farms.
- A cellulose-based fiber, biodegradable and compostable; FSC-certified.
Bio-organic cotton
- Certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, organically produced, cultivated responsibly with transparent supply chains.
- Products are designed and manufactured in-house at their weaving and finishing mill in Lapua, Finland.
- Tencel and bio-organic cotton spun and dyed in Europe.
- Development of sustainable production techniques, including geothermal energy and heat recovery systems in their facilities.
- New machinery from Suupohjan Kehruutehdas is modernized for wool spinning, with up to 10,000 kg of Finnish lamb's wool used annually.
- Focus on preserving traditional weaving skills for future generations.
- Offers RePack packaging option: Returnable, recyclable packaging that reduces waste. Customers receive a discount for using RePack and returning the packaging for reuse.
